Shirazi Salad

A popular Persian colorful and refreshing salad.


  • 3 tomatoes (diced)
  • ½ large onion (diced)
  • 1 cucumber (diced)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons mint (dried)


  1. Place the tomatoes, onion, and cucumber in a bowl. Add in the olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Top with the dried mint.
  3. Mix well so entire salad is seasoned evenly.
  4. Place into the refrigerator for 30 minutes prior to serving.
  5. Can be eaten on its own or as a side to accompany your favorite entree.
  6. Enjoy!
